My son is autistic and had a bad experience of an attempted anaesthesia a couple of years ago. I had been very wary of attempting again. Claire called me to discuss the options for my son and we came up with a plan I was happy with so he would remain calm, he had a tablet at home to relax him and then a nasal spray as a pre-med, he happily went to surgery but as we were waiting to go in he went to sleep due to the pre- med. I stayed with him until Claire had still given him the gas and he woke after the operation unaware he had even had it. The care and attention we had from Claire, from the communication beforehand, the explanations to my son at the bedside and ensuring he was not hanging around. I felt confident he would be 100% looked after and I would highly recommend Claire for any nervous patient and anyone with a limited understanding of the process.

Doctor Claire, came to my room and asked me all the necessary questions before the operation, she was very attentive to my answers and wrote them down very carefully, one thing I really appreciate it was that she asked me if I suffer from sickness I explained that yes I normally do as a result she made sure I was provided with the correct level of medicine which it was excellent as I was not sick after the operation and everything went very smoothly. Claire was very calm and she was smiling and we even had a joke together. Thank you so much for your excellent care and expertise. Wish you all the best

She sat and listened to my rambling throughout my operation for which I had a local block. She offered advice about the extent of the anaesthetic and supported my local block choice.

I meet Claire at the Spire Gatwick. I had some specific concerns, Claire listen and took a sincere interest which put me at my ease. With her expertise a care plan was formulated. Every aspect was explained. The whole procedure I had went smoothly. A truly caring excellent doctor.
